We sailed north-northwest up the lake from Holiday Marina on the Hunter 29.5 Odyssey, then turned back toward the marina.
The point of the day was man overboard practice. We each made three passes at a target using the figure-8 method: sail away on a beam reach, tack, bear off to a broad reach, then head up into irons so the boat stops next to the person in the water.

Arrows show the direction of travel. Point of sail compares the boat's course with the wind measured at KGVL, so short stretches can be off when the wind on the water differs. Shoreline: USGS National Hydrography Dataset.
How windy was this sail?
With a typical wind of 9.5 knots, this sail was windier than 50 of my 63 Lake Lanier sails. See them all on Sailing Lake Lanier.
